Lovina beach and northwest Bali are famous for its black sand beaches, beautiful sunrises, and early morning excursions out the Bali Sea to visit with the dolphins. There is no surf on this coast so it is a great beach for safe swimming. Nearby Lovina you can visit the Banjar Tega Hot Springs and the Buddhist Monastery. This area is peaceful, exotic and unaffected. Located in the northwest part of Bali (Pemuteran) there are some great hotels. Also a wonderful diving opportunity in Pulau (Island) Menjangan.
